After the walk and the fresh powder snow of the morning (see previous post), I hurried back home and made for the airport. After changing my flight several times due to constant delays, I finally set off to London. I went straight from the airport to the night club, getting there at 11:55pm, to surprise my best friend Scott and celebrate his birthday in style. The look on his face when he saw me was priceless.

Robert and I now have a week in London to make the final preparations for our trip. The main challenge: packing light.
